Our internet Pharmacy Technician Training Course is a lecture-based program which prepares students to work in a pharmacy and to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician by passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) national exam. The PTCB offers the computer-based exam by appointment at secure sites across the country; information on the PTCB exam is available at www.PTCB.org .

This course is designed to be completed in approximately 12 weeks, although some students work through the material more quickly. We cover a variety of topics which will help improve your skills as a pharmacy technician:

Our program can prepare you to pass the national certification exam for pharmacy technicians and can also be used as continuing education if you are already a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

The course will be offered using the BlackBoard system for internet course offerings. Each week, students will complete coursework which includes presentations, homework, worksheets and quizzes. The fee for the course is $250, with discounts for two or more technicians from the same pharmacy or registering at the same time.
